Why apply for YEi?
The Young Entrepreneurs initiative (YEi), is an accelerator designed to help entrepreneurs grow their business in France and Europe. It provides an intensive training in Boston and Paris and a one week immersion in France that will allow laureates to benefit from an extensive customized business network and connections to the best resources in Europe.
The 10th edition of the YEi program has been officially launched on June 23,2014 at 2:45 PM during “Fast-Track RnD – Partnering with France”, organized in San Diego as part of BIO2014 and continues during a wider promotional tour of California in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

What does YEi program offer?
The Office for Science & Technology of the French Embassy, in partnership with the Invest in France Agency, is delighted to offer to the 2014 YEi Laureates a free week immersion stay in France including training, connections and mentoring. This immersion week will be located in the Paris area and in one French region whose innovative ecosystem best fits the needs of each laureate.
Any early-stage innovative company in any industry that meets one of the following criteria is eligible:
- Less than 30 employees
- Less than $2 million in annual revenue

- July 31: Application deadline
- August 6: First selection round
- September 10: Second selection round
- September 18: Award Ceremony – Boston.“Doing business in France” training open to all the YEi candidates – Boston
The selection process takes place in the United States.

- November 3, 4, and 5: “Doing business in France” intensive training – Paris. Personalized connections – Paris
