WiredScore  is the pioneer behind the international Wired Certification standard that evaluates and distinguishes best-in-class Internet connectivity in commercial buildings. After successfully developing the business in the United States and the United Kingdom, WiredScore has set up in Paris.

WiredScore’s business is to certify office building connectivity. “Our engineers operate on the basis of an assessment check list, prepared by telecoms and buildings experts; it is structured around the main concerns users have” explains Tamara Brisk, CEO of the French subsidiary. And in addition: “The owner of a building requests we assess its advantages as regards to connectivity from the point of view of business users. So worldwide, we have certified more than 950 buildings in which more than 3 million people work.”

Paris Region, an obvious choice

The Paris region ranks 3rd on the world market for offices, after New York and Tokyo. For Tamara Brisk, choosing to offer certification services in Ile-de-France is all the more imperative as international clients have set up in Paris. “The enthusiasm for WiredScore in France has been confirmed with the certification of large buildings such as #cloud.paris in the city’s 2nd arrondissement where Facebook and Blablacar have their head offices. We have also certified the “Tours Duo”, two tower blocks designed by Jean Nouvel in the 13th arrondissement, and tenanted by the Natixis group,” says Tamara Brisk.

A quality link up with Paris Region Enterprises, in spite of the distance

Paris Region Enterprises’ subsidiary in San Francisco made the connection with Tamara Brisk through Linkedin.  “How can we help you? The welcome was simple and effective,” says the WiredScore France CEO.

The support of the Paris Region Economic Development Agency has been invaluable for recruiting the local team. And in addition: “What I really appreciate, is the interest Robin Rivaton brings to the subject of connectivity in buildings. If I need to talk with someone about innovation in France, I know I have a partner who is competent in such matters. A delegation from Paris Region Enterprises even came to our launch event in Paris. And we continue to work together on recruiting our future employees.”

WiredScore’s European development is not going to stop, the company is planning to expand into Germany and Ireland next.
