Inaugurated in Issy-les-Moulineaux (just southwest of Paris Region) on June 3, the new headquarters of the Coca-Cola Company is a paragon of high environmental quality. A stimulating environment for employees of France’s market leader in soft drinks.

Everything is changing, except their postal code. When choosing their new headquarters, Coca-Cola Company management decided to stay in Issy-les-Moulineaux while moving to a building more in line with the company’s commitments. “Coca-Cola Company wanted to move to a state-of-the-art building, perfectly integrated in its environment and facilitating employee collaboration,” explained their top management, in early June, in an article in the French business and technology magazine Usine Nouvelle.

A virtuous, intelligent building

This latest-generation building has been christened “Noda.” Located in the Bords-de-Seine eco-district, the 22,000 m2 (240,000 ft2) building – of which 13,200 m2 (142,000 ft2) is occupied by Coca-Cola – is part of a new building complex named Zenora. Boasting HQE, BBC and BREEAM International certifications, the new headquarters has particularly efficient solutions for thermal comfort, water and waste management, and respect for biodiversity. Noda is the first office building in Issy-les-Moulineaux to be connected to the local pneumatic waste collection network. Coca-Cola’s new home innovates for both the environment and employees’ comfort. Employees’ daily routines are enhanced by a superlative environment, boasting pleasant work spaces and automated equipment, not to mention eco-mobility solutions. A new headquarters with a huge impact!
